Join us for an exciting afternoon of outdoor fun at Big Marsh Park! Get ready to experience a perfect blend of adventure, creativity, and camaraderie. This event promises a memorable time for all ages with free art activities, bike rides, bonfires, and delicious treats.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS: Free Art Activity: Unleash your artistic talents at our free art activity station suitable for all ages. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, this creative corner is open to everyone. Free Bikes for Early Birds: Be one of the first 10 individuals to register and attend the event, and you’ll have the exclusive opportunity to use free bikes for the day. Experience the thrill of riding around the park on two wheels! Bonfire Pit and Bike Voucher Raffle: Gather around the warm and inviting bonfire pit to enjoy a cozy atmosphere. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win exciting bike vouchers in our raffle. Who knows, you might just walk away with a new bonfire pit! Bonfire Food: Indulge in classic bonfire treats. Relish the joy of roasting marshmallows and creating your own gooey, delectable s’mores. Feel free to bring hotdogs and buns to roast in the fire!
Bring Your Own: If you have a bike of your own, feel free to bring it along and explore the park’s trails and paths. Big Marsh Park offers a beautiful backdrop for leisurely biking. Bring a blanket and friends to enjoy the bonfire with!
Join the Chicago Park District and Chicago Adventure Therapy for a series of facilitated Community Climbing events. Ages 8 and up. These climbs are FREE and includes equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes) and the use of the climbing systems. Registration is required. Walk-ups are welcome but climbing opportunities are limited to availability.
Climbers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian*
